Private Prayer During COVID-19

Our Church is now open again for private prayer

As we follow the Scottish Government's plan out of the COVID-19 lockdown, we are now able to open our church for private prayers.

Here is what we need to know about praying privately in our church during the Scottish Government's plan out of lockdown. Please follow the guidance carefully and keep yourself and others safe during this time.

Opening Hours

St John's is open at these hours this week:

  • Wed 26 Aug: 14.00-15.00

  • Sat 29 Aug: 11.00-12.00

When you come into the church for private prayer, you will be greeted by one of our volunteers who will guide you to your seat.

Social Distancing

Our seating has been measured to comply with social distancing. Please maintain a two metre distance from others during your time at church.

Face Covering

Please wear a face covering while inside our church. Do bring your own if you can, but we also have a small supply available.

Hand Sanitising

Please sanitise your hands as you enter and leave our church. Hand sanitiser will be available at our entrance and exit.

We hope you enjoy your visit and experience a time of peace and tranquility.
