Private Prayer During COVID-19
Our Church will soon be open again for private prayer
As we are now in Phase 2 of the Scottish Government's plan out of lockdown, we will be able to open our church for private prayers from Sunday 28 June 2020.
Here is what we need to know about praying privately in our church during Phase 2 of the Scottish Government's plan out of lockdown. Please follow the guidance carefully and keep yourself and others safe during this time.
St John's will be open at these hours this week:
Sun 28 Jun: 14.00-16.00
Mon 29 Jun: 11.00-12.00
Tues 30 Jun: 11.00-12.00
Wed 1 Jul: 11.00-12.00
Thu 2 Jul: 14.30-15.40
Fri 3 Jul: 14.30-15.30
Sat 4 Jul: 14.00-15.00
When you come into the church for private prayer, you will be greeted by one of our volunteers who will guide you to your seat.
Our seating has been measured to comply with social distancing. Please maintain a two metre distance from others during your time at church.
Please wear a face covering while inside our church. Do bring your own if you can, but we also have a small supply available.
Please sanitise your hands as you enter and leave our church. Hand sanitiser will be available at our entrance and exit.
We hope you enjoy your visit and experience a time of peace and tranquility.
